On the 26th, after breakfast, we went to the city council per again we lived this phenomena which we are starting to call "magic" because in a situation which in the beginning seemed complicated and hard to fix, suddenly changed without giving us time to understand how... the sense was feeling that in a short time everything that happened seemed like an opportunity. Through a series of relations and thanks to some materials we gave to those who approached we managed, quickly and easily, to talk to the mayor (a woman!)
Judit spoke for us and explained our project, she talked a little bit about Silo's Message and offered the book. She talked to us about the social and political situation in Turkey, about religious conflicts between Alevis and Sunnis. The climate was very amiable and at the end of the conversation we obtained a stand with table and chairs for free. The place where we put our stand was central and there were many passers-by. Cristophe discovered that the girl who had the stand close to us, Arzu, spoke French very well and started commenting our project showing her the book of the Message and the one of the Parks. At the same time we distributed many materials, spoke to many people and sold some books.
At 18h we went to make photocopies because the owner told us he was alevi and could guide the dance in typical ceremonies. Hearing his inspired tales we decided to accompany him to the stadium where the ceremonies took place and thank him as well as for the curiosity of becoming closer to this landscape.
At the end of the day we went back to the hotel and we met Murat who seemed to be waiting for us. When he saw us he asked if we were going to do a ceremony. It seemed a bit strange to us... when we sat down to start the ceremony, another three boys came and we realized that he had invited them and talked to them about the ceremonies!!!
What happened to this boy produced an emotional shock inside of us because he seemed to tune into the frequency of the Message without needing explanations.
On the 27th we divided: one group stayed in Tunceli and the other went to visit the place in the mountains where another part of the Alevi Festival was taking place.
In Tunceli we tried to look for a place close by to invite our new friends to do ceremonies with us at night. Since we didn't find it we decided to invite those interested to the hotel with a meeting point at the stand at 21h.
During the day it was very hot, so we only started distributing materials at 18h. Thanks to Murat's help, who came to the stand, in a few hours we made many contacts and had lots of fun. Something strange also happened here because in the beginning Murat translated what we said to the new friends, after a while he was inspired and started distributing materials and talking about the book by himself.
At 21h, Murat, Arzu and two friends of hers came to the stand. We went back to the hotel with them and did two very beautiful ceremonies. Arzu's presence helped a lot because we could translate the experience we had with the ceremonies as well as the explanations about the Message to our new friends. We all experienced something had taken place because Arzu, her brother and friend's comments translated strong emotions which made us think something had opened inside them.
