Today was a very special day. Peter had a meeting with Yuksel and
Aylin at 17 at Ardiç cafe.
In the meantime he was in touch with
Eduardo who was travelling to Ankara
together with Judit and Nicki and we decided to meet directly in Ardiç café.
Yuksel and Aylin did not arrive at
17 and Peter was by himself at a table until Eduardo, Judit and Nicki arrived
at 17:30. The table was reorganized by the people of the place who are very
amiable. A while later we saw Bulent and his friend Olcaytug who didn’t have a
date with us there. So very funny and hugs and everything and they sat down
with us. Thank goodness Olcaytug speaks English pretty well and could translate
when necessary. So we started an animated conversation. A while later, Bulent
calls Emine, a friend of Aylin who works in the kitchen and that we know
already and a happy scene of hugs is set up with her. And while this happen,
Yuksel and Aylin come in, and other friends and a very nice confusion is set. A
while later Altug comes, which we had agreed to meet in this small and pretty
café. Meanwhile, the people working there, make our circle larger with a table
that started as one and became three. Altug brings a big box with delicious
chocolate and we are all happy eating chocolate.
Aylin passed around the place saying
hello to friends which was Peter’s signal to introduce himself after her to her
friends and giving Message calling cards. In the table next to us were a very
nice girl and boy. Their names are De’gen and Kerim and we also gave them a
Message calling card. Degen starts talking to Peter in Italian because he heard
people in our table speaking Spanish, so Peter starts talking Italian to her.
It is the language he is studying. We have a conversation and they also want to
come to meeting on Wednesday. Also Degen wants to introduce us in the Center of
the foundation with which she works on volunteer projects. A project is about
to begin called “How to promote peace?” and wants us to meets all their
friends. The date will be in the next days.
At the same time, 2 other friends of
Bulent joined our table, Ali and Kiler. Everything very animated. After a while
Degen comes to our table and introduces us to another friend Aykut, and the
conversations continue. Aylin is talking to her friends at the same time and
inviting them to the Wednesday meeting. And all of them have Message calling
cards. Handan
also arrives so we have 12 persons at our table. Yuksel decides to prepare soup
at home and we invite all our friends. All very happy and we move to our house.
Conversations in the living room and in the kitchen. Eduardo, Altug, Bulent and
Yuksel talking about the edition of the Book, which steps to take etc. While we
wait for the soup to be ready, we set the table and prepare to eat.
Well, we had an agape in friendship
very beautiful and Damla also came, a young student we know. After eating and,
of course, chai, Handan proposes to show her
pictures again of Aconcagua and everybody
happy. So the time passes and the atmosphere is so beautiful and with soft joy,
funny things and more. To end the night we did a Service with some friends who
stayed, like Handan,
Aylin, Altug, Damla and Yuksel. At 22:45 everyone leaves, but will come back
tomorrow because Judit and Nicki invited all those present for a tasty
Hungarian meal.
