Hello friends,
Today, July 7th, was a very special day in Gaziantep!
We started in Papirus Cafe at 16h setting up our table. In the morning,
altug and Handan went out very early to visit the city and other friends later
went to visit Zeugma museum where there are enormous mosaics of an ancient
Greek city (Zeugma), Maribel and Cfesko gave out many flyers from the morning
until 15h and they had lots of fun.
So we met up at 16h at the Papirus Cafe. There were immediately two
situations. One around the table with the books and other materials and another
at the table where our friends were talking to yesterday’s friends Dogan,
Taifik and Borhan further deepening the book and the Healing of Suffering.
Dogan also came regularly to the table with the books to help, explaining
things about the book to those interested. Altug also dedicated himself to
informing those interested and translating conversations.
There was more and more movement. People came by themselves t the table
and some immediately bought the book and other after reading the pamphlet.
A girl who spoke English asked if we had materials in Engish because she
was with her friend from Canada who didn’t speak Turkish. So we gave her the
book of the Parks so that they could read the introduction together. The two
started to read with lots of concentration. After a while, the girl, Ezgi, came
back to the table to give back the book of the Parks and bought the book of The
Message. She introduced her friend and we talked with her for a while and told
her where she could download the book in English. Everything lovely. There were
many situations like this one and everything was very fluid. Dogan was inviting
his friends and many of them bought the book. A very young girl also arrived
and asked for a flyer and went to read it with another girl at a table. Later
she came back to buy the book. We invited her to participate in a ceremony at
20:30. We did the same thing for everyone, inviting them to the meeting. So
time flew at both tables and we were all very happy.
At 20:30 we went to the place of the meeting, incide the cafe and 5 new
people came, of which one was a friend of Dogan and Ezgi with her sister and
her mother and another woman, plus Dogan and Borhan. With our Turkish friends
Altug, Yüksel and Handan. 10 Turkish friends were at the meeting. We only did
the Well Being because the music was always on – it seems it was not possible
to turn it off. Handan explained the ceremony to the new participants and asked
them to forget the music and concentrate on the ceremony. The music apparently
didn’t bother anybody. Ezgi wanted us to ask for her aunt who has cancer and
Dogan’s friend asked us to concentrate on a friend who also has cancer. We also
asked for Atila’s mom and Isabel’s grandmother. At the end of the ceremony a
very warm atmosphere between everyone was created. As if we all had been
friends for a very long time.
The woman with her two daughters wanted to take pictures and was happy.
So were the daughters. Dogan’s friend was also moved.
We went out the the patio where conversations continued and everything
was very soft and joyful.
Soon Borhan’s family comes in. His wife Ezra, his cousin and 2 children
and a daughter of his older brother. It was a beautiful entry. Borhan was
really radiant introducing us his wife and family and a new situation was
created, everyone around a big table. Borhan bought the book for Ezra and his
cousin bought the book as well. They wanted everyone to sign it. It was
fantastic. Again chai, cola and lots of conversations. The family very
beautiful and sweet. In the meantime another one of the women who participated
was having a long conversation with Eduardo at the book table, telling him
about how, after an accident she had dreams of her friends when she saw their
future and that she could also read their minds. She was scared and had been
looking for help for a long time. With yoga and other things but hadn’t found
any answers. So Eduardo talked to her a lot, translated by Altug and it seems
she was very happy and thankful. She also bought the book and they agreed to
keep in touch about this issue.
What a strange and beautiful day. It seems that everything went by
itself, as if we had been accompanied all the time by The Message, by its
Intention. We were surely radiating and at the same time something more was
operating in this place.
Fifteen books were sold in 2 days, most of them today.
We closed the day with dinner, together with Taifik, Dogan and Borhan, ending up in a beautiful place were there was live music by two magnificent singers/musicians. After much happiness, dances and companionship we went back to the hotel and hugged our good-byes with the friends from Gaziantep, they told us to call before coming back and that they are willing to accompany us in whatever we do. All this with real feeling.
We are very pleased and happy. Gaziantep is already registered like another city where it will be easy to come back to and continue Silo’s Message. We have contacts with 9 persons.
Tomorrow Lory and Peter are travelling to Diyarbakir to receive Kati and
Maria Eliana on Monday and Tuesday and start with them what we can with the
salita and the bookstore.
Our other friends are travelling to Hatay where the books are in a
bookstore. They are staying for two days and on Wednesday we will be together
again in Diyarbakir.
