Maribel's report from Antakya second day

We began the day sharing personal experiences about death, transcendance and the importante of deepening in the Message, creating a very inspiring atmosphere.

In the bookstore we thanked the owner for treating us so well and he suggested a place close by to do ceremonies. Some went to visit it but there were problems so we decided to do it in the cafe as the day before.

At the end of the morning, we visited the Church of Saint Peter. It is in the mountains outside the city. After walking for a long time in the sweltering heat, we arrived at the cave. The most positive thing was that Saint Peter and his friends liked caves and although we had to pay 8 liras to go in we could rest in a cool place for a while.

In the afternoon we set up our table in the bookstore and gave out flyers, although few people approached. But something always happens, someone comes with a friend and asks for information, a volunteer offers to translate into Turkish, another person approaches... and at the end an interesting ambit is created.

We ended the day in our reserved cafeteria doing a ceremony of well being with 3 interested people. It was strange that before the ceremony began the lights went out and the music stopped and when we finished the light came back on.

Everyone was very thankful because the noise disappeared and the good ceremony Yuksel carried out and for the warm and emocional interchange which came up with the friends who were at their first time. After we had dinner together and exchanged phone numbers and emails to keep in touch.

In the morning we said good-bye to the bookstore owner, thanking him for his helpfulness.
