The presentation tour of Silo's Message in Turkey has begun July 5, 2012

Hello friends,

Today, July 5th, we began the Eastern tour of the presentation of Silo's  Message in Turkey.
Last night in Istanbul, Lory, Isabel, Maribel, Juli and Judit, Eduardo, Peter and Jöntürk
were eating together in a camarederie dinner and we prepared internally to take a trip to Antep the next day.
We took the express bus to Sabiha airport at 15h and already on the bus we became friends with a man from Antep called Hassan and is Alevi. Very beautiful and we ended up calling Zehra from Ankara, whom we called so that she could talk to Hassan.
We had a long conversation and exchanged phone numbers. Hassan told us he wanted to invite us and we are waiting for his phone call.
We arrived well at the hotel after a small delay when Judit realized she had forgotten her bag at the Sabiha airport. It seems that they still haven't found it. But we are all in a good mood and so is Judit.
Before arriving at the hotel, the taxis couldn't enter the street where it was, so very kindly they called the hotel and 2 employees came to take our bags. At the same moment Yüksel, who was waiting for us at the hotel, arrived.
So all's well, we settled in and then Yüksel took us to a nice place to have chai and we met with 3 of Yusuf's friends whom Yüksel had met during the day. The place is a large patio of an enormous house who used to belong to an Armenian family in the 1920's. It seems that many Armenians lived in Antep, before they were killed and fled to Europe. This is what our friends told us, two of whom are Alevi.
After they took us to a special place to eat kebab and we spent some happy moments in good company. They already know about the book and we will meet tomorrow at 20h in the same cafe to meet other friends of theirs, talk about the book and if possible to a ceremony.
Tomorrow we are going with Yüksel to visit an Alevi center and a trade union, both close to the hotel and we will see what will come out of these meetings. Yüksel did not managed to find a bookstore, so we will use the 2 days to meet as many people we can through personal contacts.
At night we did an intense asking, asking for the well being and protection of our friends who are here and are coming to accompany us in this Eastern tour which is full of unforeseen events, hopefully very positive ones.

Stong hugs,

Maribel, Eduardo, Judit, Lory, Isabel, Juli, Yüksel and Peter
